You can see this in Halo 2 and Halo 3 (even in ODST and Reach); However the remaster of Halo CE, which was not made by Bungie or 343 at the time, had a completely different art style entirely. Visually, it was not Halo, the remaster did not follow the classic Halo Aesthetic that Bungie layed down. That is why the remaster is THAT bad.
The original and enhanced settings in the video options is graphics quality of the games in general. It probably doesn't look much different in Halo CE original graphics because of how blocky stuff is. Try it in Reach you'll see a difference. It basically adds more high res filtering so stuff looks better.
Eclipse Nov 15, 2020 @ 11:09am. For Halo CE, I'd go with original graphics, this is because remastered graphics has a few issues. One, Nearly every asset is pulled from another game so nothing looks like it belongs. Two, old and new geometry does not align, creating instances where you shoot, run or fly into an invisible wall in the new graphics.
